Recap: Bethel Christian Academy Trojans vs. Community Christian Cyclones
On Friday, The Bethel Christian Academy Trojans faced the Community Christian Cyclones in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Bethel Christian Academy's rough 28-6 loss to Community Christian might stick with them for a while. Bethel Christian Academy can't seem to catch a break and have yet to win any of their six games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Community Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bailey Bunn, who rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown. Stephen Edwards was in the mix too, providing Community Christian with two touchdowns.
Bethel Christian Academy's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 0-6. The slump could be explained by some tough opposition over that stretch, namely Community Christian, Pungo Christian Academy, and Halifax Academy. As for Community Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.
Bethel Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Community Christian also has no future games currently scheduled.
