Basketball Recap: North Marion Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for North Marion, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They snuck past the Lewis County Minutemen with a 57-51 win on Tuesday. For the Huskies, this counts as revenge for the 59-49 victory the Minutemen walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

North Marion's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-10. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points over those games. As for Lewis County, they now also have a losing record of 9-10.

Coincidentally, North Marion and Lewis County will both be playing Liberty the next time they take the court. Lewis County will host Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while North Marion will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
