Basketball Game Preview: Compass Academy vs. Coahoma Bulldogs

Compass Academy hasn't had much luck against Coahoma recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Compass Academy will head out on the road to square off against the Coahoma Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Compass Academy is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 37-31 heartbreaker at the hands of Lamesa. The contest marked Compass Academy's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 58 points the game before, Coahoma was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They came up short against Denver City, falling 46-26. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Coahoma's loss dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Compass Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.

Compass Academy came up short against Coahoma when the teams last played back in January, falling 42-36. Can Compass Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
