Basketball Game Preview: Grafton Clippers vs. York Falcons

Grafton has gone 9-1 against York recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Grafton Clippers will square off against the York Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Wednesday, Grafton earned a 58-49 victory over Warhill. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Clippers.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grafton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aaron Waddy, who posted 11 points and three steals. Those three steals gave Waddy a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Chase Santiago, who had 14 points and five boards.

Meanwhile, York sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 56-54 win over Tabb on Wednesday.

York picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 3-14. As for Grafton, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Grafton took their victory against York in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 66-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for Grafton since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
