Basketball Game Preview: Paducah Dragons vs. Motley County Matadors

Paducah and Motley County are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The Paducah Dragons will be playing at home against the Motley County Matadors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Paducah is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Paducah was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 44-38 to Patton Springs.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 81-21, which was the final score in Motley County's tilt against Valley on Tuesday. The Matadors haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Motley County's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Paducah, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-19.

Everything came up roses for Paducah against Motley County in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 56-22 win. Does Paducah have another victory up their sleeve, or will Motley County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
