Baseball Game Preview: Augusta Beavers vs. Eleva-Strum Cardinals

The Augusta Beavers will take on the Eleva-Strum Cardinals at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Augusta lost 18-4 to Melrose-Mindoro on Tuesday.

Augusta saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Schroeder, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. That hit marked the first that Schroeder got this season.

Meanwhile, Eleva-Strum suffered their biggest defeat since May 11, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against Osseo-Fairchild, falling 11-1.

Eleva-Strum now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Augusta, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
