Softball Recap: Glenn Comes Up Short

After soaring to 14 runs the game before, Glenn was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They fell just short of the East Forsyth Eagles by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-1 back in March.

Glenn saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kadence Lamonte, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Glenn's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for East Forsyth, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-9 record this season.

Glenn will square off against Forsyth Home Educators at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bobcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 9.4 runs per game this season. As for East Forsyth, they will take on West Forsyth at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
