Basketball Recap: Keslyn Vogel and Tianna Clark Secure Win for Crawford

Crawford waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Cody-Kilgore Cowboys/Cowgirls by a score of 52-39. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 48-34 two weeks ago.

Leading Crawford to victory were Tianna Clark and Keslyn Vogel. Clark went 6-for-9 to rack up 16 points and four steals, while Vogel posted 19 points along with five boards and three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Vogel has scored at least a third of Crawford's points. Sage Dyer was another key player, putting up seven points and five rebounds.

Crawford's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Cody-Kilgore, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.

Crawford didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 41-36 loss against Hay Springs on the 21st. Cody-Kilgore does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
