Thomas More Prep-Marian came tearing into Tuesday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Phillipsburg Panthers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Monarchs also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

While Thomas More Prep-Marian might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Phillipsburg scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19.

Thomas More Prep-Marian was led to victory by Brynn Rebel and Hannah Rose. Rebel had 16 digs and one assist, while Rose had five digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Rose a new career-high.

Thomas More Prep-Marian's victory bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Phillipsburg, they moved to 9-10 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.
