The matchup between Riverside and Leflore County on Thursday hardly resembled the 0-0 effort from their previous meeting. Riverside put the hurt on Leflore County with a sharp 19-0 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Ann Brilye Hankins and Ashley English did most of the damage at the plate: Hankins scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-2, while English scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Those three stolen bases gave Hankins a new career-high. Paislee Misskelley was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Riverside has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. Leflore County now has a losing record of 2-3.

The teams wasted no time getting back out on the field as they've already faced off again: they played to a 0-0 tie later that day.
