After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sand Creek, Mesa Ridge was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Grizzlies: when they faced off against the Trojans back in March, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-23, 23-25, 25-16.

Kaya Harris paced Mesa Ridge's offense, picking up 17 kills. Harris got some help from Aiden Meacham and his 23 assists. Harris was also solid from the service line: he led the team with six aces.

Mesa Ridge's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-13 and their overall record up to 3-18. As for Fountain-Fort Carson, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-14.

Mesa Ridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Lutheran on the 24th. As for Fountain-Fort Carson, they have also already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Sand Creek on the 24th.
