Baseball Game Preview: Lansdale Catholic Crusaders vs. Neumann-Goretti Saints

Lansdale Catholic hasn't had much luck against Neumann-Goretti recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Crusaders will head out on the road to square off against the Saints at 4:00 p.m. Lansdale Catholic has given up an average of 9.2 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Lansdale Catholic came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 13-1 to Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic.

Lansdale Catholic saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anthony Wack, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 runs the game before, Neumann-Goretti was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They fell 7-2 to La Salle College.

Lansdale Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Neumann-Goretti, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5-1.

Lansdale Catholic came up short against Neumann-Goretti in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, falling 5-2. Can the Crusaders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
