Taylorsville had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.9 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over the West Panthers. Considering the Warriors have won ten games by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Ryne Lageschulte made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

Taylorsville's record now sits at 14-7. As for West, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-19 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Taylorsville beat West by a score of 13-3 on Friday.
