Football Preview: Wahama White Falcons vs. Ravenswood Red Devils        
        
		
             The Wahama White Falcons are taking a road trip to  square off against the Ravenswood Red Devils  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Wahama will be strutting in after a  win while Ravenswood will be coming in after a  defeat.
 Ravenswood better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when Wahama really get things going. Everything went Wahama's way against Doddridge County on Friday as Wahama made off with  a  48-24 victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the White Falcons.
 Wahama's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Trace Simpkins, who threw for 115 yards and three touchdowns on only six passes, and also rushed for 67 yards. The dominant performance gave him a new career- in  rushing yards.  Wyatt Harris was another key signal caller, picking up 96 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Wahama was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 228  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 219  rushing yards in 14 consecutive  contests  dating back to last season.
 Wahama's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut  Connor Lambert.
 Meanwhile, Ravenswood was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight  loss. They lost  38-13 to Ripley.
 Ravenswood wouldn't let Ripley keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Ravenswood can thank  Jakob Simmons and  Austin Vannest for forcing both of them.
 Wahama's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Ravenswood, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
 Everything came up roses for Wahama against Ravenswood in their previous meeting  back in September of 2023 as the  squad secured  a  59-14 win. Does  Wahama have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ravenswood turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
