Basketball Game Preview: Glendale Adventist Cougars vs. Burbank Bulldogs

The Glendale Adventist Cougars will challenge the Burbank Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Glendale Adventist took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Wednesday. They walked away with a 57-44 win over San Fernando Valley Academy. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cougars as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Burbank got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Muir 72-44. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 28 points or more this season.

Glendale Adventist's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 7-7. As for Burbank, their victory bumped their record up to 15-6.
