Ludlow has gone 8-2 against Holmes recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Panthers will square off against the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Ludlow came up short against Villa Madonna and fell 6-3. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ludlow saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Parker Trenkamp, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Miller Reed was another, going 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Holmes can bid farewell to their nine-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Newport as they made off with a 12-2 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Bulldogs' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Ludlow's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Holmes, their win bumped their record up to 3-9.
