Soccer Game Preview: Chesapeake vs. Old Mill

The Chesapeake Cougars will face off against the Old Mill Patriots at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Chesapeake is headed into Tuesday's matchup hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Glen Burnie.

Meanwhile, Old Mill's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Glen Burnie by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that Old Mill have lost by just one goal.

Chesapeake's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Old Mill, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6-1.

Chesapeake took their win against Old Mill in their previous matchup back in September of 2023 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Cougars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Patriots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
