Volleyball Recap: Timpanogos Has No Trouble Against Pine View

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Timpanogos had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pine View Panthers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Timberwolves.

Zaxen Downey had an outrageously good game as he had eight digs and four aces. Downey is also crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 12 every time he's taken the court this season.

Downey wasn't the only good server: Timpanogos was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive matches.

Timpanogos' record is now 13-9. As for Pine View, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 14-9 record.

Looking ahead, Timpanogos will take on Murray at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pine View, they will square off against Provo at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
