Softball Game Preview: Waller Bulldogs vs. Cypress Springs Panthers

The Waller Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Cypress Springs Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Waller and six for Cypress Springs.

Waller lost 7-1 to Langham Creek on Friday.

Waller saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Avery Jameson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Cypress Springs fell victim to Cypress Woods and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 16-0.

Waller's defeat dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Cypress Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12-1.

Everything went Waller's way against Cypress Springs in their previous meeting back in March, as Waller made off with a 16-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
