Baseball Recap: Evergreen Wolverines vs. Cleveland Eagles

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sultan, Evergreen was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Cleveland Eagles 4-2. This was payback for the Wolverines, who suffered a 14-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

Raiden Hang made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one walk in nine consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one double. Evergreen is undefeated when Hang posts two or more runs, but 4-8 otherwise.
