Preview: Central Grizzlies vs. El Diamante Miners
The Central Grizzlies are on the road again on Wednesday and play against the El Diamante Miners at 4:00 p.m. on December 13th. Hopefully Central focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Saturday.
Last Saturday, Central was able to grind out a solid win over Pitman, taking the game 54-44.
Central found their leader in underclassman Brandon Madison-smith, who scored 15 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 steals. Branden Ezell was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Meanwhile, El Diamante's 18-9 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a 61-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tulare Western on Saturday.
The win got Central back to even at 3-3. As for El Diamante, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
