Basketball Recap: Kindred Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Kindred came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 55-40 victory over the Wahpeton Huskies. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 56-48 victory back in February.

Kindred's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 24-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points over those games. As for Wahpeton, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-9.

Looking ahead, Kindred will welcome Beulah at 6:30 p.m. on March 20th. One thing working in Beulah's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine contests. As for Wahpeton, they will head out to face off against Shiloh Christian at 2:45 p.m. on March 20th. Shiloh Christian will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something Wahpeton surely won't give up without a fight.
