North Myrtle Beach put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their game with ease, bagging a 59-32 victory over the Loris Lions. The Chiefs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 27 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Loris saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Layna Hemingway posted eight points and five boards.

North Myrtle Beach pushed their record up to 10-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.0 points per game. As for Loris, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-4.

North Myrtle Beach and Philip Simmons will round out the year against one another at at 4:30 p.m. on December 28th. As for Loris, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 37-26 victory against St. James on the 21st.
