Volleyball Recap: Concordia Academy Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Addie Pickett and Evelyn Brown

Concordia Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Dover-Eyota Eagles.

Despite the loss, Concordia Academy had strong showings from Evelyn Brown, who had three digs and two aces, and Addie Pickett, who had five digs and one assist.

Concordia Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Dover-Eyota, their win bumped their record up to 15-9.

Concordia Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Big Lake on the 11th. As for Dover-Eyota, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Sibley East on the 11th.
