Basketball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Piles Up the Points Against Yerba Buena

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mt. Pleasant). They blew past the Yerba Buena Aztec Warriors, posting a 74-31 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Cardinals as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Mt. Pleasant was led to victory by Jordon Flagg and Derrick Norfleet. Flagg posted 24 points, while Norfleet had 22 points. The dominant performance gave Flagg a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Mauricio Heredia, who put up ten points.
