            Volleyball Recap: Harlandale Indians vs. Southside Cardinals        
        
		
        
        
            There's no place like home for Harlandale, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Southside Cardinals by a score of  3-1  on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  2-0  back in August.
 Harlandale had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-16, 25-15,  25-14.
 Victoria Rodriguez paced Harlandale's offense, picking up 13 kills. Rodriguez got some help from  Jenna Sandoval and her 37 assists. Sandoval was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with four aces.
 Despite the loss, Southside still got an impressive performance from   Gabriella Galindo, who  had 27  assists and 14  digs. Galindo has been hot, having  posted 14 or more assists the last six times she's  played.

Harlandale's victory was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 14-13. As for Southside,  they are  on  a  17-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-24.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Harlandale is set to  take on  their familiar foe South San Antonio  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Southside will  square off against  rival Winn  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
