Volleyball Recap: South Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact South can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Somerset Berkley Regional Raiders on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Colonels have suffered since September 29th.

While South was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Somerset Berkley Regional's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-11, 25-15.

Ryleigh Brown was nothing short of spectacular for Somerset Berkley Regional: she had nine digs and nine aces. Those nine aces gave Brown a new career-high.

South's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Somerset Berkley Regional, they moved to 13-8 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

South does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Somerset Berkley Regional, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Wayland on the 1st.
