Volleyball Recap: Bear Creek Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pueblo South, Bear Creek was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Thomas Jefferson Spartans.

Bear Creek was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 20-25, 21-25, 25-20, 16-14.

Aiden Nguyen went supernova for Bear Creek, getting 29 digs and five aces. What's more, Nguyen posted two assists, the most he's had since back in March of 2024.

The victory got Bear Creek back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Bear Creek will square off against Eaglecrest at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Thomas Jefferson, they will challenge Westminster at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
