Football Recap: Trousdale County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Innovation Academy last Thursday, Trousdale County came back down to earth. The Yellowjackets had to suffer through a 44-7 loss at the hands of the Macon County Tigers. The Yellowjackets have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Trousdale County's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Macon County, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Trousdale County will challenge Clay County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. As for Macon County, they will take on DeKalb County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give Macon County their first taste of in-conference action this season.
