Softball Recap: Loachapoka Takes Down Lafayette in a Playoff Battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Loachapoka had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 20-4 margin over the LaFayette Bulldogs. The contest marked the Indians' most dominant victory of the season.

Loachapoka's win bumped their record up to 6-12. As for LaFayette, they dropped their record down to 1-11 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Loachapoka wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 17-1 defeat against Reeltown on the 26th. Hopefully LaFayette paid attention to the Indians' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Indians at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
