Grandview will have to keep a close watch on Addison Bova and Molly Reiter, a pair of players who had a big impact on Crystal City's prior game. Bova went 11 of 21 on her way to 33 points, while Reiter went 8 for 19 en route to 22 points. The game was Bova's fifth in a row with at least ten points.

Crystal City's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-7. As for Grandview, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
