Soccer Game Preview: Wagoner vs. Stilwell

The Wagoner Bulldogs will take on the Stilwell Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Wagoner is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

Wagoner took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against Hilldale, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bulldogs narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Hornets 3-2.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stilwell). They never let McLain Science & Tech get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for Stilwell in their matchups with McLain Science & Tech: they've now won four in a row.

Wagoner's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those five matchups. As for Stilwell, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
