Soccer Recap: Richfield's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Richfield managed to keep up with St. Paul Central until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Spartans lost 3-0 to the Minutemen. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, Richfield's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Having lost for the first time this season, Richfield fell to 2-1. As for St. Paul Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Richfield will host Brooklyn Center at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Paul Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Washington Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
