Volleyball Recap: Jamestown Takes a Loss

Jamestown lost against Wilmington back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Muskies fell just short of the Greyhounds by a score of 3-2. The Muskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Jamestown wouldn't go down easily and took Wilmington into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking 11-point loss. The final score came out to 14-25, 25-22, 25-14, 21-25, 15-4.

Jamestown's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Wilmington, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 13-8.

Jamestown didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Mercer on the 16th. As for Wilmington, after both having extra time off, they and Reynolds will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
