Football Game Preview: DasCHE Spartans vs. Mercy Culture Prep Royals

The DasCHE Spartans will head out on the road to challenge the Mercy Culture Prep Royals at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. DasCHE will be strutting in after a win while Mercy Culture Prep will be coming in after a loss.

DasCHE is headed out in good spirits considering the team just ended their winless streak on the road against UME Preparatory Academy two weeks ago. The Spartans walked away with a 34-26 victory over the EAGLES.

Roy Hall was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 188 yards and four touchdowns. That's the most passing touchdowns he has posted since back in September of 2024.

Meanwhile, Mercy Culture Prep played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against First Baptist, falling 56-12. The Royals haven't had much luck with the Saints recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Although Mercy Culture Prep took the loss, they still got scores from Walker Hughes and Damarion Anderson.

Mercy Culture Prep now has a losing record of 2-3. As for DasCHE, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Saturday's game might be decided in the trenches. DasCHE has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 167 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Mercy Culture Prep, though, as they've been averaging only 77.8 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?

DasCHE beat Mercy Culture Prep 34-25 in their previous matchup back in September of 2019. Will the Spartans repeat their success, or do the Royals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
