It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pinnacle had no problem doing just that on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over the Perry Pumas. Considering the Pioneers have won ten matches by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Perry with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Eric Vieriu, Noah Marshman, Jack Pease, and Bryce Smith.

Pinnacle's win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 37 goals over those ten contests. As for Perry, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.

Pinnacle has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Sunnyside on the 19th. As for Perry, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Apollo on the 19th.
