Baseball Recap: Everett Comes Up Short at Home Against Ingraham

Everett unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 10-5 to the Ingraham Rams on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Seagulls of the 9-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Luca Morales was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kaidden Iverson, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Everett didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Arlington on the 14th. As for Ingraham, they have also already played their next contest, a 12-1 victory against Port Angeles on the 15th.
