Volleyball Recap: Bridgeport Central Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Bridgeport Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the New Canaan Rams. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hilltoppers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-13, 25-19.

Mia Lockyer was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 13 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last five games she's played. Lily Racioppi also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Bridgeport Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for New Canaan, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season.

Bridgeport Central has already played their next contest (against Norwalk), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for New Canaan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Ridgefield on the 20th.
