Soccer Game Preview: Shawnee Heights vs. Spring Hill

The Shawnee Heights Thunderbirds will head out to square off against the Spring Hill Broncos at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Shawnee Heights came up short against Cair Paravel and fell 4-2.

Meanwhile, Spring Hill entered their tilt with Lansing on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They never let the Lions get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. Spring Hill might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by three goals or more this season.

Spring Hill's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Shawnee Heights, they now have a losing record of 5-6-2.

Everything went Shawnee Heights' way against Spring Hill in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, as Shawnee Heights made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Thunderbirds since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
