Football Recap: Putnam Vo-Tech Comes Up Short

Putnam Vo-Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 49-14 loss at the hands of the Agawam Brownies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Beavers of the 47-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2022.

Putnam Vo-Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Agawam, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Putnam Vo-Tech will take on Wahconah Regional at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Agawam, they will square off against Chicopee Comp at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
