Softball Game Preview: Jefferson Raiders vs. White River Hornets

The Jefferson Raiders will head out on the road to challenge the White River Hornets at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Jefferson is looking for their season's first win.

Jefferson fell victim to Enumclaw and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Hornets, falling 21-0.

Jefferson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Robertson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double. That double was Robertson's first of the season.

Meanwhile, White River lost 9-1 to Auburn Mountainview on Friday. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Abby Akins made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for White River, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
