Frankton piles up the points against Madison-Grant

Recap: Frankton Eagles vs. Madison-Grant Argylls

The Frankton Eagles stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 82-34 win over Madison-Grant. Frankton's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Frankton had a senior duo take command as Emma Sperry dropped a triple-double on 27 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists and Amaya Collins scored 31 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. Sperry continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Key, who scored 13 points along with three steals.

Despite the loss, Madison-Grant still got an impressive performance from Maddy Moore, who scored 13 points along with four steals. Moore has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times she's played.

Frankton is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Madison-Grant, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Frankton will take on Yorktown at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Yorktown focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Saturday. As for Madison-Grant, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Northfield at 7:30 p.m. Northfield is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
