Softball Recap: Bledsoe County Warriors vs. Alcoa Tornadoes
Bledsoe County lost against Alcoa back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bledsoe County Warriors fell 7-4 to the Alcoa Tornadoes. Bledsoe County has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Bledsoe County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ella Baker, who went 3-for-4 with a stolen base and an RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Cyla Swafford, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.
On Alcoa's side, Dylan Jablonski was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and a triple. Halle Bailey was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
Bledsoe County's loss dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Alcoa, the win (which was their 25th in a row) raised their record to 44-3.
As of now, neither Bledsoe County nor Alcoa have any future games scheduled.
