Softball Recap: Salt Fork Picks Up Eighth Straight Win on the Road

Salt Fork hadn't done well against Tuscola recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Storm narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Warriors 3-1. Winning may never get old, but the Storm sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Salt Fork pushed their record up to 24-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Tuscola, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-12.
