Baseball Recap: Pasquotank County Comes Up Short

Pasquotank County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They came up short against the Northeastern Eagles, falling 10-4. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Pasquotank County saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Casey Hoadley, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Pasquotank County's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Northeastern, they moved to 3-13 with that win, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

While Pasquotank County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on the 29th.
