Bertie has gone 7-0 against North East Carolina Prep recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Bertie Falcons just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the North East Carolina Prep Husky at 7:30 p.m. Bertie will be strutting in after a win while North East Carolina Prep will be coming in after a loss.

On Tuesday, Bertie didn't have too much trouble with Tarboro as they won 70-55. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Falcons' disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 340th, while the Vikings are ranked 140th).

Meanwhile, North East Carolina Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by Washington County 72-45.

The win made it two in a row for Bertie and bumps their season record up to 8-9. As for North East Carolina Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.

Everything came up roses for Bertie against North East Carolina Prep when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured a 72-38 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bertie since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
