Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Penobscot Valley walked away with it. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Katahdin Cougars 4-2. The victory was just business as usual for the Howlers, who after 16 games remain undefeated this season.

Penobscot Valley's win bumped their record up to 16-0. As for Katahdin, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 15-1.

Looking ahead, Penobscot Valley will challenge Southern Aroostook at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Howlers surely won't give up without a fight. Katahdin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
