Football Recap: Harpeth Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Harpeth made up a huge gap compared to their last game against McEwen, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Indians fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 23-20 on Friday. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 48-26 to the Warriors when the teams met back in September of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Maddox Wilson threw for 89 yards and one TD. John Neely was his top target, picking up 67 receiving yards and one score.

This is the second loss in a row for Harpeth and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for McEwen, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harpeth will square off against Montgomery Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for McEwen, they will challenge East Hickman County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
