Baseball Recap: Catalina Foothills Takes a Loss

Catalina Foothills was the 11-1 winner over Cienega when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Catalina Foothills fell just short of Cienega by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The contest marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Catalina Foothills saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paden Good, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

The defeat snapped Catalina Foothills' winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-3 record. As for Cienega, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Catalina Foothills and Cienega will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Catalina Foothills is set to challenge their familiar foe Mountain View at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Cienega will square off against rival Buena at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
