Basketball Recap: Kirby Comes Up Short

Kirby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 58-25 defeat at the hands of the Blevins Hornets. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

Kirby's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Blevins, they pushed their record up to 5-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Kirby and Blevins will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Trojans see the court they'll take on Spring Hill at 5:00 p.m. on December 2. As for Blevins, their break will end when they face Mineral Springs at 5:30 p.m. on December 2.
